Pricing Policy

Temporary Authorizations:
A temporary authorization occurs when a merchant tests to confirm that your credit card account is valid and/or has sufficient Available Credit. Gas stations, restaurants, hotels, car rental agencies, airlines and online retailers commonly use temporary authorizations.

Temporary authorizations are deducted from your available credit only; they are not included in the account balance. The charge will be included in your account balance when the actual transaction amount is determined and posted to your account.

Temporary authorizations can remain on your account for up to 30 days. Only the merchant can remove the authorization. Once the actual transaction amount is posted to your account, the temporary authorization will be removed in full.

Pricing Consistency:
cyclegear.com is an extension of our retail stores. We are pleased to provide excellent customer service and offer the finest products available to those who live in areas that don't have a Cycle Gear store (yet!). To maintain continuity, our site must adhere to the same pricing policies as our retail store locations. There will always be a few exceptions such as clearance and special purchase merchandise, but for the most part, the stores and website will maintain the same pricing at all times.

If you find an item in stock at any local accessory retailer that is priced less than the same item at Cycle Gear (within 30 days of your purchase), we will match the price. Only current prices or ads can be considered. Cycle Gear does not match Internet prices. In order to provide the best and most personal customer service on the planet, we cannot always be the low price leader. Sales Tax:
cyclegear.com is required to collect sales tax in any state in which we have retail store locations.

Special order items require special handling. We can usually provide these items in the same time frame we do any other products, but they do carry the following special order fees:

Most of us here at Cycle Gear are human and we can make mistakes. If we find an error after your order is placed, we'll work with you as much as possible, but remember: there's no free lunch (or DVD, or jacket, or anything else). We reserve the right to correct prices that are incorrectly displayed or calculated due to programming errors, tornados, gremlins, too much cough syrup and/or other issues.

Multiple Methods of Payment:
You are welcome to pay with more than one method. If you choose to purchase with a Cycle Gear Gift Card and a credit card, we will take as much of the balance from the Gift Card as possible, then charge any remainder to the credit card.
